Hope smiles from the threshold of the year to come, whispering, 'It will be happier.'
I am a pathetic morning person, trust me.
“Why am I always sleep deprived, away from my hometown?”- I always rewind the same question back in my head at every single freaking time. I didn’t know the answer.
But I woke up early that day.
"30/12/2017"- as my Phone Calendar said.

“Like what!!??” screamed my mother in astonishment. She could never imagine me having breakfast at 7 o'clock in the morning.
Sounds funny right? Well it is.
I got up from bed and glanced into my Android Phone which says 6:00 am.
I WAS SO HAPPY!
Yayy, I did it :D
I quickly brushed my teeth and got myself looked fresh like a pure white morning Dove. I pampered myself with breakfast- Brown bread, Amul butter, Egg-white poach and a piece of freshly bought Apple.
“How beautiful my life is!“
I am always proud of myself and my Life. I love surprising myself at every single time by doing something different and innovative. I get myself inspired at everywhere and from everything. So much to explore in this tiny little world!
“The day’s gonna be a really hectic one! “, I murmered to myself.
Though I took a day’s off from my office works, but still I had so many stuffs to complete. I always used to give myself a TARGET for anything to finish at a day’s span; this tactic actually helped me to finish up my works before the deadlines.

My phone’s ringing. It was Rishi’s Incoming Voice Call.
“Hey! Get up, we will have our breakfast together outside according to our plan, remember?”
OH MY GOD!
I forgot and already had four pieces of breads.
“Yes, definitely, how can I forget. And see, I am already awake and fresh. So, meet me at 9:30?”
“Okay! I’ll pick you up. Bye!”, he hung up.

I was really in need to pause my sweetest early breakfast that moment and had a quick shower. I chose a denim Dungaree from my wardrobe to wear. I bought that from FOREVER21 with a special discount. It’s my favorite dungaree!
I put up a light shade lipstick from NYKAA and a slight touch of mascara over my lashes.
I really look horrible with my bare eyes :(
I heard the sound of his car and quickly done my makeup with a light foundation and obviously with a gel-based sun-screen moisturizer- yes that is also from NYKAA(my all-time favorite beauty destination).
I rushed downstairs. Yes, obviously locked my house before exiting :P

“The Hole In The Wall Café”- it was out favorite destination for a perfect BRUNCH. Within an hour, we were almost full and hardly had any space left in the stomach. And I was super happy to have TWO breakfasts that day :D
The painted walls, the colored lamp shades and the decorative Christmas Tree, were grabbing the attraction to the place.
We clicked a hell lot of selfies as well as pictures of ours with the D S L R.
Well, well, well, Mr. Rishi is a photographer, and my personal CAMERAMAN :P He really pulls the best out of me in every pictures. YOU SHOULD CONTACT HIM FOR THE PHOTO-SESSIONS. Period.
It was already the time for Lunch. It was 1 o'lock in the afternoon. I never understood how the time flies whenever we are together.
But anyway, I had also a plan for the GIRLS‘ DAY OUT on the same day. Plus, I and Rishi had to attend the NEW YEAR EVE Party in the evening, which was pre-planned. So I needed to leave for Shopping and then Self-pampering sessions. I was still feeling full in my stomach, so I thought to skip my Lunch in order to attend the night party. I met my colleagues, went for shopping, and had an awesome SPA and hair massage. The day felt so refreshing!

I got back to my house. The clock struck 6:00 in the evening.
I had more two hours with me to hop off again for the party. So, I gently relaxed myself over the couch while swiping the INSTAGRAM stories.
Well, Uploading pictures is my favorite job on Instagram. Everybody seemed so happy and decked up over my Instagram timeline, for welcoming the New Year.
I realized that it's the time to give myself a stunning hot look for the party.
I wore a LBD because I was puzzled what to wear and what not and I was already running late.
“Not bad!”, I appreciated myself in the mirror. I looked pretty. Quite pretty.

I dashed the Boss Babe Matte color shade lipstick from NYKAA over my lips, filled my eyelids with LAKMÉ ICONIC KAJAL and MASCARA, painted my cheeks with LAKMÉ 9to5 FOUNDATION, and tied up my hair like a professional.
“Whooh! I’m ready.”
I was really quick doing my makeup that day. It was smooth; it was perfect. "Good job, Deblina", I patted on my shoulder.
There was a huge traffic in the city at that hour and so, Rishi was getting late to pick me up from my home. I gave him a call while he was still stuck in the traffic.
I was feeling very sleepy. I got up early that day and didn’t find a time to sleep the whole day. I was tired.
I got up at an instant on hearing the car’s noise downstairs, while I was dozing at my couch.
I slipped my toes off into the grey Stilettos, locked my house and went off.
“Oh! Somebody is looking handsome!”, I appreciated him.
“Oh! Somebody is looking pretty!”, he blinked. And we smiled.
Again the huge traffic at our mid-way to the pub. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. Half an hour, we were almost late. It was so irritating indeed, to get stuck in a traffic. I was again dozing off while sitting in the car. I didn’t know where I had gone for that fraction of moment.
By the way, I love my sleep, A LOT! I can travel to places while still sleeping down or even sitting anywhere :P

At a minute’s pause, we saw a bike been flown off at a distance away from our car.
YES, IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!
We were about to cross a three-directioned lane.
A white Maruti Suzuki was coming from the left end of the crossing.
The traffic was lose comparatively and we were waiting for the GREEN SIGNAL to indicate.
As we were about to move along with some thousands of cars at the crossing, we witnessed a “flying” red colored Kawasaki Ninja. It came all the way overtaking our car and without wasting his “precious” time at the signal crossing, that cool dude owner of Ninja decided to pull himself ahead of everyone leaving behind.
As a result, he became blind folded with his Ego and got crashed down by that white Maruti Suzuki.
How reckless a person could be not to wear a helmet even, while travelling on a bike!

We were FORTUNATE not to be the victim of this disaster and was UNFORTUNATE, at the same fraction of time, to be the eye-witness of this Uncanny situations prior to the New Year.
The body was found smashed and it was a massive crowd there.
The blood stained road, the cops completely surrounded that location, and we were not having any idea of getting scorned off.
Rishi took another way to the pub and we backed off the situation.
We got two hours late for the party. And we were exhausted!
I was then not at all in the mood to attend the party, but I had to. I was still shivering at the blunderous sight that happened some hours back.
Anyhow, Rishi dropped me back to my house.
I pulled off my makeup and just crashed into my bed.
"KINDLY KEEP YOUR HELMET ON!"
